Paul Wolf, tenor

Paul Wolf, tenor, is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at the University of Alabama where he is a student of Paul Houghtaling. A recent graduate of Virginia Tech, Mr. Wolf was also a member of Opera Roanoke’s Young Artist Apprentice program. In 2014 Paul created the role of the Frog Prince in Lori Laitman’s children’s opera, The Three Feathers. In 2016 he placed Second in the MTNA National Young Artist Vocal Competition in San Antonio. Recently he has been seen as Sam Kaplan in University of Alabama Opera Theatre’s Street Scene, Alfred in Birmingham Music Club’s Die Fledermaus, and Stewpot in Ash Lawn Opera’s South Pacific. In 2017, Mr. Wolf is joining Seagle Music Colony as a Fall Season Outreach Artist. Upcoming engagements include Cpt. Dick Warrington in Birmingham Music Club's Naughty Marietta, Roy Johnson in Seagle Music Colony's The Light in the Piazza​, and Tamino in Seagle Music Colony's ​Die Zauberflöte.
